Your choice of region
A student pass can be regional or multi-region, covering exactly the same museums as the full version — see the coverage page. Nothing is held back from the student tier.
Students are exactly the people museums exist to reach, and exactly the people who can least afford a string of separate entry fees on a tight budget. So the student pass carries the lowest per-person rate we offer. It is the same pass technically — a QR code on your phone, the same coverage options, the same instant delivery and offline use — priced down for anyone with valid current enrolment at a school, college or university, in Egypt or abroad. This page explains how the rate works, how proof is handled, and how to combine it with a group booking.
To get the student rate, you show valid proof of current enrolment — a student card with a current date, an enrolment letter, or an equivalent document — at the point of purchase. We check it once to confirm eligibility and we do not retain it afterwards; the privacy page spells that out. The proof can be for any recognised educational institution, Egyptian or international, because a visiting student deserves the same rate as a local one. There is no separate "student verification service" to sign up for and no ongoing membership — you prove enrolment when you buy, and that is the end of it.
At the museum door, the QR pass is scanned exactly as any other pass; the student rate is settled entirely at purchase, so there is no awkward "show your student card again" moment at the entry. That said, carrying your student card while travelling is always sensible, since individual museums may run their own separate student concessions on top of what the pass covers.
The student pass is not a stripped-down version — it is the full pass at a reduced price. Here is what that includes.
A student pass can be regional or multi-region, covering exactly the same museums as the full version — see the coverage page. Nothing is held back from the student tier.
Delivered the moment payment clears, saved to your phone for offline use just like any pass. The mobile pass guide applies unchanged.
A class or society travelling together can combine the student rate with the group pass for the best applicable price. Mention both when you enquire.
Yes. Any valid proof of current enrolment at a recognised institution counts, whether your school or university is in Egypt or abroad. A visiting student gets the same rate as a local one.
No. We check it once to confirm eligibility at purchase and do not retain it. The privacy page sets this out explicitly.
Yes — combine the student rate with a group pass so the organiser buys once for the class and everyone gets the student price. Tell us it is a student group when you enquire through the contact page.
There is no age limit — what matters is current enrolment, not age. A mature student returning to study, a postgraduate researcher, or an undergraduate all qualify equally, as long as the enrolment is current and you can show valid proof at purchase. We deliberately tie the rate to being a student rather than to a birth year, because that is who the concession is really for.
No. It is the full pass — the same coverage, the same validity window, the same instant delivery and offline use — simply at a lower price. Nothing about the student tier is cut down; only the rate changes.
Have your enrolment proof ready and enquire — we will confirm the student price for your coverage.
